Chinese toddler has dead twin removed from her stomach

Kang's parents couldn't understand why their daughter's stomach was growing larger overnight and feared it could be a tumour.
Her swollen belly made her look pregnant and drew taunts from neighbours who branded her "a monster"
But after doctors examined the 18-month old they discovered that she had an extremely rare condition, which affects 1 in 500,000 births - when one twin in the womb grows larger than the other and envelops its smaller sibling.
The second fetus never fully develops, but continues to grow within the first baby, feeding off it like a parasite. It left Kang, from Henan Provence, unable to eat solid food and spending her time in constant pain. Kang had already had a difficult start to life. Just days old, she was abandoned in a field by her parents.

Her cries were heard by farm worker Wang Guihua, 35, who took her home and nursed her back to health.
Wang and her husband Kang Xiqing, 43, had no children of their own and were allowed to foster Kang.
The worried couple took her to doctors who explained that Kang had an unborn twin growing inside her, and that it was crushing her organs as it grew.
Her life was hanging in the balance, but her parents with a combined income of £400 a year, couldn't afford the £1,000 operation that their daughter so desperately needed.
Help arrived in the for of the Red Cross who raised the funds for Kang through and appeal.
She was rushed into surgery and after a grueling 10-hour operation, Kang is now recovering well and will be able to live a normal life.
Her grateful mother thanked the Red Cross, saying: "We're very grateful. We were so worried she would die. Before she used to cry in pain and hold her bump like a pregnant woman. Now we can hope she can have a normal life."
Kang returned to her village in Henan provence in September and is doing well, she is running round the village with the other children and is eating solid food.
Her mother said: "She doesn't understand what has happened to her. But she is happy.
"She still has her womb and ovaries, so one day she will be able to have children of her own."

Dengue Awareness month…

I heard an interesting story from my office mate about dengue hope it can helps…
Early this morning I had a little to chit chat with my officemate… he shared that his diagnose with dengue fever last week. The doctors advise him to take a rest in their hospital to monitor his platelets (his platelets count is 189 that time). But he is not comfortable in the hospital and he chooses to stay at their house instead in the hospital.
Then he recalled on his mind a story from his friend that experienced a dengue fever too. His friend said a Chinese herbologist gave him a 1 teaspoon of pure papaya leaves juice. And then after 8 – 24 hours they test again his platelets and like a magic his platelets count increased.
So my officemate told to his wife to get some papaya leaves from their backyard and squeeze it, his wife follow what he told. He took 1 teaspoon of papaya leaves juice but he didn’t like the taste even the smell but he need forced his self to take that even his stomach didn’t want to accept it and he want to vomit but still he strained his self. And after that day he go back to the hospital to have a test again his platelets count increased to 320. (whoaaaah.. it’s amazing…)
Before, I just used papaya leaves to whiten my skin but now it can cure dengue wow how great…. Hope it can help some people out there experiencing the same case.

Paglipat ko sa kabilang chair yung babae sa likod ko tinulak yung upuan namin nainis ako kase nakakabastos sabi ko “say Excuse me…”  tas dumating na yung isang friend ko from CR sabi ko dun na siya upo tas sabi ko “Gurl, say excuse me nakakahiya sa likod” tapos kung ano- ano sinabi nila sa friend ko na kesyo ako daw yung nakasanggi nung lumipat ako.. eh hirap na hirap nga ako lumipat nun kase ayaw nila mag give way kase nga lasing na (nag sign ako ng Fuck You “dirty fingers”) they throw me a icecube tinanong ko sila ngayon kung sino nagbato ng yelo at kung ano problema nila yung girl sa likod ko tumayo at sinabi na siya daw ang bumato kase finuck you ko siya then the girl beside at her naghagis sa amin ng baso na may tubig nabasa ako kaya yung pitcher of margarita sa tabe naming naihagis ko sa kanila … tinumba nila yung table namin tas yung friend ko na isa dun na na alarma binato na rin nya ng baso or bote ng beer sila twice… nakita sya ng mga security officer pilit kami pinalabas at sinigawan sigawan kami syempre nung una ayaw namin na kami yung palabasin kase hinde naman kami yung nag start ng gulo and besides tatlo lang kami sila madami… naiinis kami kase bakit kame yung lumalabas na nakakahiya bakit kami yung pinagtutulakan at pinagsisigawan palabas since kami lang naman yung inaggrabyado dun…  dapat yung nauna nanggulo sila yung pinalabas nila hinde kami pilit kong kinukwento at pinapaliwanag ang nangyari kay MR. Time to relax….( benefits of body scrub) and learn how to make your own body scrub...

I went to Bergamia Spa yesterday with one my gurl’s friend Leslie.
We choose their package 5 Combination of Massage and body scrub for only Php 750.00

We avail their free sauna for 15 minutes. While we are inside their sauna booth they served ice tea for us.

After the sauna (they advise us not to take shower first so our pores is still open) we proceed to our designated room for milk salt scrub but I think they applied papaya salt scrub on me instead of milk. Then we take a shower.

After a shower I laid down again to my room for the honey application. Then I wait for 15 minutes before I got shower again.

And the last and my favorite part, the massage I love their massage actually I like what Ate Jezza did to me (the assigned therapist for me.) I’m very satisfied on her service I like the way she scrubs and massage my body. I felt relax and sleepy that time.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Using salt scrubs as a body treatment can help to exfoliate, moisturize, and smooth dry and damaged skin, leaving it feeling soft and virtually glowing. Salt scrub can help make your skin feel smoother and silkier.

Coffee body scrub will help you revitalize and detoxify your skin.
Coffee is an excellent skin cleanser and really improves circulation and skin tone.
The caffeine in coffee has a lot of benefits as it helps redistribute fat cells and decrease the formation of cellulite when you apply the body scrub topically.
Another benefit of caffeine is that it acts as a vasorestrictor, tightening and shrinking blood vessels so it helps eliminate varicose veins.

“DIY body scrub recipe

SALT BODY SCRUB RECIPE

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oil. Use sweet almond, grapeseed or another light-textured massage oil. Don't use simple cooking oil from your pantry.
1 cup fine sea salt. Baleine is a good choice. Don't use simple iodized table salt -- it's too harsh. If you have sensitive skin you can substitute sugar, which is gentler.
5-15 drops high quality essential oils. The essential oil you choose for your salt scrub depends on the result you want. Lavender is relaxing, lemongrass is refreshing and rosemary is stimulating. You can experiment and do your own blend.

Preparation:

Put the salt (or sugar) in a small bowl.
Add the oil, mixing well with a spoon or wooden stick. The texture should be moist enough to hold together, but not overly oily. You can adjust the amount of oil to achieve that texture.
Gently tap in the drops of essential oil and combine well. If you get more interested in aromatherapy you can customize your recipe using different essential oils.
So now you're ready to use your home-made salt scrub -- once a week is plenty.

coffee body scrub recipe:

1/3 cup coarsely ground coffee
1 tablespoon instant coffee powder
1/3 cup raw sugar or sea salt (we prefer sea salt)
2/3 cups massage oil (safflower oil, apricot kennel oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil and even olive or vegetable oil)

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients together until it has an even color.
Take a shower to moisten your skin and open your pores. Rub the coffee body scrub onto your skin using wide, circular motions. Make sure you don't rub to hard but your pressure should be even all over.
Shower off, towel skin dry, and apply a thin layer of your favorite body lotion.

I would like to share this patriotic letter from a young man Reigno Jose Dilao. He is a teenager, a student, and a Filipino who has a big heart for his country.

August 23, 2010
"A letter from a teenage Filipino to the WHOLE WORLD”
As you are reading this letter, I bet that you have seen/heard about what happened earlier in our country.
Tourists were hostages of a policeman here, Rolando Mendoza. After a few hours of the horrible crime, some of the victims were dead including the hostage-taker.
I wrote this letter not just to apologize but also to let everyone know that we Filipinos are not all like Mendoza. We are loving and good-hearted people.
For so many years, our country has been standing tall and surpassing every dilemma; be it small or big. Years ago (back when I wasn’t born yet), you have watched us fight for what we think is right. We fought for the democracy of our nation.. The EDSA revolution. But that’s just one out of many.
Second. We Filipinos have been serving other countries for our families and we treat you as our own as well. With all due respect, I thank you all for giving us the trust through the years. For helping us to become what we are now.
The Philippines is more than just a group of islands. We are a nation of strong and remarkable people. A country of beauty and love known to be hospitable and well-valued. I humbly apologize for what happened tonight. No one in this world would want something like that to happen for life should be valued.
I politely ask the attention of the world. Please do not judge and mistreat us just because of what happened tonight. I have been searching the net and found terrible things. Hong Kong advices to avoid travels here, China and HK bans Filipinos and that Philippines is the worst place to go.
I can’t blame you for what you have decided but I hope that you could understand. Our country is now in a sea of problems. And I know for sure that we helped you in a way or another. Let peace and understanding reign this time.
I know that this letter will just be trash but I wish that you would understand. On behalf of the Philippine population.. WE ARE SORRY.
As a song puts it…
And I believe that in my life I will see an end to hopelessness, giving-up and suffering. And we all stand together this one time then no one will get left behind. Stand up for life. STAND UP FOR LOVE
Sincerely yours,
Reigno Jose Dilao

video scandal

***
I’m scared I thought I’m going to encounter a scandal yesterday. I saw one of my neighbors taking a video on me while I’m cooking in our backyard wearing my night dress. Maybe he saw my revealing breast that’s why his taking a video on me.

I’m scared and shock because I’m just thinking on it (that some one may see me) and upon looking up I’m caught him recording a video on me while his on their window. I’m freeze for 30 seconds before I move and react I’m really shocked and shamed on my self.

I’m afraid that the video got spread L I’m so careless… I let them see my sensitive part of my body waaaahh… huhuhu L

I saw my neighbor who is councilor in our barangay and I told him what happened. He reported it in our Home owner Village President and they talked the guy and ask what his intention why he did that. The guy and his wife said it’s just a toy and they playing that time. But I don’t believe on them I know it’s not a toy. But anyway the important thing is he knew that I already report what he did.

typhoon basyang

Typhoon 'Basyang' (international name Conson) hit my place last Tuesday night. I’m very scared that time the wind howled so loud with the heavy rain drops that makes me awake and alert. I’m afraid that it will have a flood again, and it seemed like that roof of our house will fly. And as of 12:45 am the electricity was knocked out and resume early this morning that really hard for me. No cellphone, No landline, No internet, No Tv and No radio so I don’t know what happen outside...
And due to power outage we don’t have work yesterday so I stayed home for the whole day; I sleep for the whole day.

“Basyang, packing maximum gusts of 120 kilometers an hour, hit the eastern side of Luzon.”

no worries for me...

I did a debt consolidation last month. I got a cash 2 go from my metrobank credit card to pay my other credit cards. Because for me, cash 2 go has lowest rate and longest term so paying my debt become easiest for me.

Debt consolidation works for me, its help me to get rid from higher interest from other credit card companies and I make cheque for only one company and it’s easy for me now to monitor my due date.

If you want to know more about debt consolidation try to have credit counseling and you will learn a lot about debt consolidation.

can't bring my cellular phone inside my office :(

Oh my momay!!! Can’t use my cellular phone inside the company…
Why I’m also included on that? Am I production? How is that???
What if I’m outside the company and processing some docs…? How can I monitor my urgent shipment? Anyway if that’s they want, I can’t do anything about that… I will not bring my cellular phone in our company anymore…

But I didn’t see any point with that why they include me on that policy, because as far as I know I didn’t use my cell phone all the time. And its one of my way how to communicate with the forwarding company L
What if I had an urgent call??? L L L

i am very hapontukin....

When hapontukin sets in, I cannot control my eyes and its automatic close.
One afternoon I go outside the company to process some documents in PEZA Admin.
While waiting for my docs my hapontukin sickness has begun can’t control my self but to take nap in my chair. I do wake up and then I noticed I’m sleeping again and again.
The other processor laugh behind me, and I heard they said I had lack of sleep last night, I’m from gimmick, and I did a silly thing last night etchetera echetera... When my paper done and I proceed to the Bureau of Customs for a signature there’s a two girl in my back calling my name then I stop and wait for them. The girl said “Are you pregnant??? We heard you already have a partner and you are pregnant!!” oh my god because of my hapontukin moment there’s a rumor that I am pregnant it’s shameful for me because I am a single and not yet married.

And there’s another hapontukin moment I cannot forget in the rest of my life.

Here the scenario:

I’m in the jeepney going to my grandparent’s house in Alfonso. I slept on my trip and due to my extreme sleepiness my saliva trickled down to my pants and it’s seemed like albumin flowing down its so embarrassing hahaha...

With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Do you believe in wish???

Well I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence or it really happen.
When I’m in Macau I met a guy, and we visit some places in one whole day together.

Out of the blue he gave me a coin and he said lets take a wish; we are in San Luca river in Venetian at that time and (I wish I have more time with him...) and then time passed by I need to leave him to take my flight back in manila.

When I’m in taxi taking my way to the airport I’m thinking bout my wish and him. And then I said to my self maybe in another time or place it will happen.

But when I arrived at the Macau airport the immigration is already closed so I didn’t make my flight back to manila. I laughed out loud at the airport coz I don’t know if I’m stupid missed my flight or stupid wishing for that. I don’t know if my wish grant or it just happens. The security personnel at the airport said I’m the only person who’s became very happy after missing her flight.

However I do not have any regrets missing my flight although I need to purchase a new plane ticket coz I want it I wished for it. And I’m so happy for having another day with him and my moment with him is “priceless”.

MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY

Even thought it's been so long
my love for you keeps going strong
I remember the things that we used to do
a kiss in the rain till the sun shines through
I tried to deny it, but I’m still in love with you

I miss you like crazy, I miss you like crazy
ever since you went away, every hour of everyday
I miss you like crazy, I miss you like crazy
no matter what I say or do
there's just no getting over you

I can see the love shinning in your eyes
and it comes in such a sweet surprise
if seeing is believing, it's worth the wait
so hold on and tell me it's not too late
we're so good together
we're starting forever now.

and I miss you like crazy, I miss you like crazy
ever since you went away, every hour of everyday
I miss you like crazy, I miss you baby
a love like ours will never end
just touch me and we're there again

just one night
and we'll have the magic feeling like we used to do
hold on tight
and whatever comes our way we're gonna make it through

if seeing is believing, it's worth the wait
so hold on and tell me it's not too late
we're so good together
we're starting forever now.

and I miss you like crazy, I miss you like crazy
no matter what i say or do
there's just no getting over you

and I miss you, baby
I miss you baby
all the tender love you gave me
when a feeling gets this strong
I know the real thing will come along
and I miss you....

I miss you like crazy baby
only your sweet love can make me

I miss you like crazy
a love like ours will never end
just touch me and we're there again
I miss you like crazy
I miss you like crazy
